Dean A. Steria
Lecturer of Accounting
Mr. Dean A. Steria is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting. Mr. Steria has over twenty years of industry experience that includes: Public accounting where he worked in both income tax and auditing; manufacturing industry where he served as a chief financial officer and; governmental where he served as an assistant chief financial officer.
Mr. Steria received his bachelor’s degree from SUNY Plattsburgh in professional accounting. He then got his M.B.A. from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Currently Mr. Steria is working on his Ph.D. from Capella University where he is in the final stages of the program. He is licensed and registered to practice as a certified public accountant (CPA) in New York state. In addition Mr. Steria also possesses a degree from the New York Institute of Photography.
Mr. Steria’s teaching interests includes financial and managerial accounting, cost accounting, governmental and not-for-profit accounting as well as auditing.
