Programs that fit your needs

Online programs are a convenient way to learn and to meet your career goals.

Online Programs

We have the tools to help you succeed — dedicated advisors, flexible class schedules and degrees to fit your career goals.

Flexibility & Options

Choose from 18 different online programs, from bachelor’s and master’s degrees to post-graduate certificates. Most programs are 100% online and several feature internships and practicums you can do either in person or online.

You can expect the same small class size online as we offer to on-campus students. All our courses are taught by SUNY Plattsburgh faculty. We even have remote computer labs that let you use the specialized software available in our labs without additional cost.

Dedicated Support & Resources

Academic Advising & Mentorship

We understand that taking online courses or going back to school as an adult learner can be intimidating. That’s why every SUNY Plattsburgh student — including our online students — is assigned a faculty advisor. Your advisor will help guide you and provide the support you need to be successful. Advisors help you choose courses to meet your goals and can help you develop career plans.

And, because we know your needs are unique, many of our online programs also have a dedicated academic coordinator who is solely responsible for the advisement and success of students like you.

School of Business and Economics students can also benefit from SBE's online program support office.

Technology & Academic Resources

The ITS Helpdesk is ready to help you with any technology questions and issues you might run into with your computer or accessing courses. The Helpdesk even has staff trained to help you with any software we offer in our remote labs or is required for a course.

Feinberg Library resources are available to you wherever you are. We have an extensive library of articles, books and research papers available online. Our librarians can help you with research and have online research guides on many topics, with a fair number specifically tailored to help you with your current courses.

The online learning office can help connect you with resources and answer questions about taking courses online.
