Mark Kaiser


Lecturer Emeritus of Accounting

Mr. Mark Kaiser, C.P.A. is a lecturer in the Department of Accounting. He has over thirty years of teaching experience in addition to several years of public accounting work.

Mr. Kaiser has earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in business administration (MBA) from Clarkson University. He is licensed and registered to practice as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in New York State.

Mr. Kaiser’s teaching interests includes accounting and income tax (introductory financial and managerial accounting, intermediate accounting, personal income taxation and income taxation of business entities).

Mr. Kaiser is active in service to the department, school, college, and the local community. He has served on dozens of committees over the past thirty years. He also serves as treasurer to a number of local not-for-profit corporations as well as two local chapters of honor societies on campus. Mr. Kaiser is a forty-year member of the National Ski Patrol and patrols at Whiteface Mountain. His service also includes academic and career advisement to accounting majors as well as the coordinator for the accounting minor.
