Assistant Professor of Psychology, Cognitive Neuroscience
Everyday actions often appear effortless, concealing the complex cognitive processes
that make movement possible. When the motor system is disrupted, the profound consequences
for health and wellbeing highlight how essential these processes are. My research
explores the interaction between cognition and action to understand how movement is
planned and executed, and how this knowledge can improve support for people with conditions
affecting motor function.
