When registering for a section, you may receive an error informing you that the section
is closed and the “Summary” area on the bottom right of the screen will show a status
for that section of “Errors Preventing Registration” and a default action of “Remove”.
In these instances you may be able to waitlist for the section still. For detailed
instructions on registering for classes, please refer to the Registrar Office homepage in the "Registration Instructions” section. In order to add yourself to the waitlist:
- In the Action drop-menu, change the status to “Waitlist”
- Click Submit
- If successful, your status will now show as “Waitlisted”
If a seat opens for a course in which you are waitlisted, you will receive an email
to your @plattsburgh.edu email address. You will have 48 hours to make a decision
to add the course. If you wish to add the course, follow the instructions in the email.
