What is Unique About Our Program?
Our 150-credit program is the first of its kind to be registered with NYS-DE. It comes at a time when the Uniform CPA Examination and CPA licensure models are evolving. Both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) are looking to ensure accounting programs nationwide are prepared for changes that will be implemented in 2024.
You can earn both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in only five years.
Our internship program placement has no match. There are plenty of opportunities for experiential learning with well-known corporations such as IBM; national and international CPA firms such as Deloitte, PwC, EY, KPMG, GT; and with other national, regional and local CPA firms. You may also decide to intern with a nonprofit organization or a national, state or local government agency. We also sponsor Annual Tax Internship Program which is a partnership with IRS and our local AARP Tax-Aide where our qualified accounting majors help families and individuals from the surrounding communities to file their taxes electronically free of charge. We are continuously cultivating additional internships and co-op opportunities. It is our way of enhancing your leadership development, team building skills and appropriate experiential learning.
