Stratford Festival

Experience world class theatre at the Stratford Festival in Stratford, Ontario. 

Every fall, a one-credit course is offered — ENG/THE 480 — that allows students to study the history of the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, travel to Stratford, Ontario, and see a selection of performances.

You will travel to the quaint town of Stratford, Ontario to: 

  • See five plays in three days! You will see at least one play by Shakespeare and one musical
  • Attend workshops like stage fighting or song and dance
  • Take tours of the theatres or the costume and props warehouse, as well as talks about the theatre, as available
  • Ask actors questions in post-show chats 

This is an incredible opportunity for you to see professional theatre at its best.
