Enrollment and Degree Verification

This free service is available 24/7.

Students may obtain enrollment and degree verification documents through the National Student Clearinghouse by logging into their MyPlattsburgh account. Click on the student services tab and the enrollment verification link under the Registrar heading.

Registration Dates and Instructions

  • New Students

    Entering Fall 2018


    Freshmen

    The Admissions Office forwards information regarding registration services, dates, and deadlines to all new students. Questions may be directed to the Admissions Office (518-564-2040).

    Transfers

    • Course Advisement Begins (Banner Web Registration PIN Access Required): May 25, 2018. Transfer students begin contacting department chairs for course advisement and to obtain the registration PIN required to access Banner Web registration.
    • Online Registration for Main and Branch Campus Students: June 22, 2018 (10 a.m.) - Sept. 2, 2018 (11:30 p.m.). Staff at the branch campus are available to assist Branch Campus students with registration.
    • In-Person Course Advisement/Registration (if needed): Aug. 26, 2018 (10 a.m. Learning Center).

    Readmits

    • April 2, 2018 (10 a.m.) - Sept. 2, 2018 (11:30 p.m.) - Banner Web Online Registration (Access Through MyPlattsburgh Portal) Note: Please register early.  Registration PINS are not required.

    Graduate

    • April 1, 2018 (10 a.m.) - Sept. 2, 2018 (11:30 p.m.) - Banner Web Online Registration (Access Through MyPlattsburgh Portal). Please register early. Registration PINS are not required.

    Undergraduate students requiring assistance with course selection should initially contact the department chairperson of their major. If additional course selection advisement is needed, feel free to contact the Office of Academic Advising:

    Banner Web (Online Registration)

    1. Go to MyPlattsburgh.
    2. Login in with NetId and Password (Click here for more information on NetID and password) 
    3. Click on Student Services menu tab.
    4. Under Registrar, click on Lookup Courses to Add.
    5. Select Term (Summer 2018 or Fall 2018).
    6. Click Advanced Search.
    7. Select course subject or other search criteria and press the Class Search button at the bottom of the form.
    8. Check the box next to the desired course(s), scroll to end of page, and submit changes. Approval to add a closed course is granted by the department chairperson only.

    Note: Students are responsible for all information existing on their registration records, including tuition and fees associated with all courses.
