Our 100% online program gives you the flexibility to complete the certificate in one summer full time or spread classes out over one academic year while continuing to work in your current field.

Building on your current certification, you will learn how to effectively teach adolescence-age students with special needs.
What is Unique About Our Program?
The certificate features a teaching practica experience and a student teaching experience, both of which can be done at a location close to your home. In addition to working with expert teachers in the classroom, you will have guidance and supervision from our faculty, either virtually or in-person.
The admission process for the certificate is streamlined — an interview is often unnecessary and your application will be evaluated by our faculty on a rolling basis.
