Whiteface Hall

Whiteface Hall is a nine-story, high-rise, co-ed building arranged in corridor style. Each floor has a study lounge, floor lounge and a kitchenette. Enjoy the convenient location!

Whiteface Hall

Whiteface Hall was named after world-famous Whiteface Mountain, one of the highest mountains in New York’s Adirondack Mountains. Whiteface Mountain is famous for its Olympic Ski Facilities.

This newly renovated building is dedicated to first-year students. As one of our three first-year residence halls, Whiteface Hall was renovated with an eye toward the unique needs of first-year students and your success.

Each floor has a study lounge, floor lounge and kitchenette. Additional activity and program spaces are on the 1st and 2nd floor as well as within the basement. The new mountain-view lounge, looking south at the Adirondack Mountains of N.Y. and Vermont’s Green Mountains, is on the 9th floor.

A Great Location

Whiteface is joined by Adirondack and Banks, the two adjacent residence halls, by an underground tunnel. This amenity is especially appreciated during the winter months. It’s also central on campus, close to Feinberg Library, the Angell College Center, and several academic facilities.

Many of the students find the hall’s location a very convenient aspect of living in Whiteface.
