The Class of 2020 First Destination Survey report represents the various outcomes of our undergraduate degree recipients as collected and reported according to the standards and protocols of the National Association for Colleges and Employers (NACE).

Highlights:

  • This year’s data collection achieved an institutional knowledge rate of 61% for undergraduates and 825 for graduate students. 
  • The Class of 2020 is defined as undergraduates who completed their degrees within the context of the academic year and include graduation cohorts of August 2019, December 2019, January 2020, May 2020.
  • Data collection began in July of 2019 and ended on December 31, 2020.
  • Data collection methods include: direct survey response, phone calls, direct email, social media message and social media data scraping.

The Career Development Center of SUNY Plattsburgh is chiefly responsible for conducting the First Destination Survey on behalf of the institution. Below is a breakdown of data by academic schools.
