Ms. Tobi Hay, director of the Career Development Center, earned a master’s in student
affairs from Syracuse University and a bachelor’s in political science and women’s
studies from Colgate University. Her experience includes career counseling, corporate
recruiting, academic advising and admissions.

Mr. Morgan Pellerin, assistant director of the Career Development Center, graduated
from SUNY Plattsburgh with a bachelor’s in history and anthropology. He returned to
SUNY Plattsburgh and graduated with a master’s in student affairs counseling. His
experience includes career coaching, admissions, counseling and residence life.

Ms. Sally Urban, senior career counselor, was born and raised in central Wisconsin
(and yes, is a Packers fan). She holds a bachelor’s in communications from University
of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. She obtained a master’s in college student personnel
from Indiana State University. She joined the Career Development Center at SUNY Plattsburgh
in 2000. Sally is an active member of the Plattsburgh State Gospel Choir, Champlain
Valley Voices, Peru/Keeseville Ecumenical Choir, and Strawhatters Community Band.
She has also been involved with Artistry Community Theatre as a performer and photographer.
She also serves on the board of directors of Piano By Nature.

Ms. Jamie Dupell, Applied Learning Specialist for the Career Development Center, is
a Plattsburgh native. She graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a bachelor's of science
in individualized studies and, after working in a mental health facility in Massachusetts
for four years, she returned to Plattsburgh and began her career in higher education.
Her experience includes admissions, mental health, and career counseling.

Ms. Tricia Jackson, office assistant, graduated with a bachelor’s of music education
from The Crane School of Music at SUNY Potsdam, with her primary instrument being
the bass trombone. She is currently active in the music community through participation
in the Adirondack Jazz Orchestra and Adirondack Wind Ensemble.

Our Peer Career Assistants (PCAs) are current undergraduate students. They are available
to help with resumes, cover letters, personal statements and to help you learn more
about all the other resources the Career Development Center provides. Stop in to our
drop-in hours to connect with our PCA staff.
