Each year, the Career Development Center hosts a career fair in the spring semester.
This is a great opportunity for students to connect with employers and learn about
potential internship and job opportunities while in college and post-graduation. Each
year, we average 75 employers attending the event, and over 300 student participate
in the event.
Our Employer Engagement Events are designed to connect students with recruiters and
employers. These events are usually virtual to allow students to engage with a wide
range of employers from locations across the country. Events are added regularly so
be sure to check the calendar of events often to see what is available.

The Hire and Higher Fair is a partnership between SUNY Plattsburgh’s School of Business
and Economics and the Career Development Center. We have combined two of our most
impactful events — the Career and Internship Fair and the Graduate and Professional
School Fair — into one dynamic and inclusive experience.
Are you unsure of your plans after graduation? This is an ideal opportunity for you
to network with a variety of employers and schools to find out about: full-time and
part-time jobs; internships; graduate and professional programs; graduate assistantships
and fellowships. Students from all majors and class years are encouraged to attend.

The Part-Time Job Fest is an opportunity to network and engage with employers both
on and off campus for work-study, temp service and other part-time work opportunities.
Representatives from the Career Development Center, Student Financial Services and
GEO will be present to answer your questions. We will also demonstrate how to use
Handshake, our career portal, to locate part-time jobs, full-time jobs and internships.
