Dr. Tanushree Chatterjee


Visiting Assistant professor

Dr. Tanushree Chatterjee joined the School of Business and Economics in fall 2026 as a visiting assistant professor of management. She earned her Ph.D. in management with a specialization in organizational behavior and human resource management from the University of Texas at El Paso. She also holds an M.B.A. from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a bachelor’s degree in electronics and telecommunication engineering from India.

Prior to beginning her academic career, Dr. Chatterjee worked as an ERP consultant at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where she supported business process implementation projects for GE Healthcare.

Dr. Chatterjee’s research focuses on organizational behavior, employee engagement, work design and work-life dynamics. Her research uses quantitative methods to examine how workplace practices and individualized work arrangements influence employee well-being, performance and organizational effectiveness.
