College Auxiliary Services is excited to bring you Camp Cardinal! Our popular summer program combines learning and hands-on fun for children ages five to 17. The program brings local teachers and SUNY Plattsburgh professors together to teach a variety of courses.

For more than 35 years, Camp Cardinal has provided learning in the following areas:

Health and wellness
History
Science
Storytelling
Theatre
Writing

Discounts are available for children and grandchildren of active U.S. military service members and veterans. For more information about these discounts please email us.

Morning Camps
Camps: 9 – 11 a.m.
- Magic School Bus with Khila-Rae Pecoraro, ages 5–7
- Introduction To Hip Hop with Kylee Bresett, ages 5–10
- Science Explorers: Adventures in Discovery! with Nana Ankrah, Ph.D., ages 8–15
- Kitchen Thyme with Kids with Chef David Fabrycki and Chef Sebastien Mallet, ages 9–15
- Cardinal Quest with Chase Vaughn, ages 9–11
- Intro to 3D Design with Zachary Buzzell, ages 11–17

Afternoon Camps

- Junior Cardinal Police Academy with University Police Officers, ages 8–12

Additional Camp Cardinal Options

7:45 – 9 a.m. — Early Burghy Campers

Activities for your camper before the morning session. Starts at 7:45 a.m. and your camper will be brought to their morning class at 9 a.m.

11 a.m. – 1 p.m. — Burghy’s Nourish & Nest

Lunch break and physical activity for your camper between the morning & afternoon session.Your camper will be brought to the lunch at 11 a.m. and then brought to their afternoon class at 1 p.m. Lunch is included.

3 – 5:15 p.m. — Burghy’s Feathers & Fun Campers

Activities for your camper after the afternoon session — starts at 3 p.m. until 5:15 p.m. and your camper will be brought to the care room after their afternoon class.
