Symptoms & Testing Information
If you have a fever, cough or other symptoms listed below, you may have been exposed to COVID-19. You should self-isolate and contact your health care professional or the Student Health and Counseling Center at 518-564-2187.
- Fever
- Cough
- Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
- Chills
- Repeated shaking with chills
- Muscle pain
- Headache
- Sore throat
- New loss of taste or smell
- Nasal congestion/runny nose
- Nausea/vomiting/diarrhea
The center is not open for testing on weekends or during the summer session. If you require COVID testing, please visit one of the local testing sites in Plattsburgh:
- WellNow Urgent Care is located at 474 NY-3. Book a COVID-19 testing appointment.
- Plattsburgh community testing site, Adirondack Hall, 51 Sanborn Avenue. Open Monday – Friday. Book your testing appointment
Student Health & Counseling Center
Confidentiality
Records at the center are strictly confidential. Records are only released with the student’s written consent or by a court-ordered subpoena. Information about student contacts for psychological services is not released to other campus departments, outside agencies, family, or friends. Even the fact that a student has been at the center is confidential.
