SUNY Plattsburgh boasts an extremely safe campus. We are wholly committed to the health and well-being of our students.
SUNY Plattsburgh is a community of about 2,700 residential students with another 3,300
students residing off campus. The city of Plattsburgh, including the college, has
a population of nearly 22,500 people.
The safety and well-being of students, faculty, staff and visitors to the college
is high priority at SUNY Plattsburgh. A safe and secure environment can be achieved
only through the cooperation of all members of the campus community, and our staff
work hard to ensure that everyone is informed and prepared.

University Police
