Supporting Student Success

Every year, the Plattsburgh College Foundation provides more than $1.7 million in student scholarships and $500,000 to enhance educational programs. This support is made possible through charitable gifts from alumni and friends.
Providing Opportunities

The Plattsburgh Alumni Association connects alumni and students through a variety of on-and off-campus programming, giving you the opportunity to network with graduates in your field.

Office of Institutional Advancement

We promote a culture of philanthropy that attracts vital resources in support of SUNY Plattsburgh’s mission and strategic priorities. This is achieved by nurturing lifelong positive relationships with alumni, students, parents, faculty, staff and friends of the university, with the goal of increasing charitable support to ensure student success.

Plattsburgh Alumni Association

The mission of the Plattsburgh Alumni Association is to secure and strengthen the relationships between alumni and the university; actively support the student experience; facilitate the transition of current students to the alumni ranks; and work in partnership with the university to encourage alumni participation in its programs, activities and development efforts.

Plattsburgh College Foundation

The Plattsburgh College Foundation, a nonprofit corporation, was established in 1963 to receive and manage all private gifts to SUNY Plattsburgh. Managed by a Board of Directors, the foundation partners with SUNY Plattsburgh alumni, friends, faculty and other benefactors to provide scholarship and academic support for current and future students. All gifts to the Plattsburgh College Foundation support the mission of SUNY Plattsburgh.

Annual Report

SUNY Plattsburgh’s Annual Report is designed to give the greater SUNY Plattsburgh community a sense of the culture, energy and scholarly achievement sustained by the generosity of the university’s many supporters. Every year, we change lives for the better, not just for our students, but locally, regionally and in the communities our graduates go on to serve throughout their lives.
