Dr. Yushan Liu


Visiting Assistant Professor of Business Analytics

Dr. Yushan Liu is currently a visiting professor at the School of Business and Economics. She received her Ph.D. in Business Technology Management from Concordia University, and holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in engineering.

Before entering academia, Dr. Yushan worked as an electronic engineer and project manager in a rocket company in China. As an engineer, she designed a machine vision system using C++, which is still in use in Long March Series Launch Vehicles. As a project manager, she facilitated the integration of several departments’ work.

Dr. Yushan’s research interests lie in the field of human-computer negotiation, with a focus on leveraging data analytics methods to examine the relationship between AI agents‘ features and negotiation outcomes. With the continuous evolution of digital technology, the utilization of AI agents is becoming increasingly prevalent. Dr. Yushan’s research aims to shed light on the influence of AI agents on negotiation outcomes and user perception. Additionally, her research places a significant emphasis on user experience (UX), exploring the impacts of adopting AI agents on user experience. This research stream seeks to draw attention to the cognitive influence of AI’s development and empower humanity in this process.
