Merritt Billiter
Adjunct Lecturer in Theatre
Merritt is a proud alumnus of SUNY Plattsburgh where he received his B.A. in theatre.
As a co-founder of the improv troupe Completely Stranded, Merritt has performed in
hundreds of improv shows. Besides improv, Merritt has worked with numerous community
theatre companies. Over the years he has enjoyed many roles both on and off stage.
Merritt loves spending time with his wife and family. Game nights, swimming and just
visiting are some of his favorite things.
Merritt teaches several courses at Plattsburgh including: Acting Is For Everyone (intro
to acting), Improv and Auditioning. Merritt loves sharing his love of theater, improv
and the creative process with his students.
