Congratulations on your decision to attend SUNY Plattsburgh! We are excited to welcome you and we know that you and your family probably have many questions about your transition to university life. This is your Cardinal Flight Path to get prepared for your SUNY Plattsburgh experience.

Introducing your Cardinal Flight Path — our special welcome events and activities to help get you comfortable navigating our campus, accessing student services and finding your flock!
During Welcome Week, you will be greeted by faculty, staff and student leaders who are here to guide you through your transition to becoming a SUNY Plattsburgh Cardinal. Expect opportunities for your family to connect and celebrate alongside you!
- Academic Onboarding — Meet faculty and advisors, learn what to expect in your major, get tips on how to succeed
- Campus Connections — Visit key offices and services, discover academic support resources and learn where to go when you need help
- Social Events & Evening Activities — We have lots of fun experiences planned with opportunities to meet people and make friends both on and off campus!
Be Sure to Check Your Email Regularly
All new students will receive information from a variety of offices, such as admissions, graduate admissions and academic advising about getting registered into your first semester of courses.
