Congratulations on your decision to attend SUNY Plattsburgh! We are excited to welcome you and we know that you and your family probably have many questions about your transition to college life. Follow the steps below to get prepared and register for your SUNY Plattsburgh orientation experience.
Summer 2023 Orientation
All new students — first year and transfer — are expected to attend an orientation session.
- July 9–10 — First-year student session
- July 11–12 — First-year student session
- July 13–14 — First-year student session
- July 16–17 — First-year student session
- July 19 — First-year student session
- July 21 — Transfer student session
More information related to orientation, including the college’s orientation welcome tour, information about the on-campus sessions and how to sign up for orientation will be posted on this site soon.
Note:
- EOP Students will attend the EOP Summer Institute.
- International Students: your mandatory orientation begins the week before classes begin.
