Congratulations on your decision to attend SUNY Plattsburgh! We are excited to welcome you and we know that you and your family probably have many questions about your transition to university life. This is your Cardinal Flight Path to get prepared for your SUNY Plattsburgh experience.

Be Sure to Check Your Email Regularly

All new students will receive information from a variety of offices, such as admissions, graduate admissions and academic advising about getting registered into your first semester of courses.

Check in at the SUNY Plattsburgh Field House (GPS location 167 Rugar St., Plattsburgh, N.Y. 12901) at the following times:
- Last name A through K — 9 a.m. to noon
- Last name L through Z — Noon to 3 p.m.

Academic Onboarding & Matriculation

Today’s about getting you comfortable with your academic life. You’ll learn about your major, explore academic buildings, discover support resources, and get tips for your first day, week, and semester. There will also be evening events and activities.
