• Parking

  Parking Lots #2, #3, #11, & #12

  Free parking is available for open house guests. Follow event signage upon arrival and our staff will direct you to designated parking areas.

  Accessible parking is available in Lot #2 and in front of the Kehoe Administration Building. Golf carts will also be on hand to assist with group transportation.

• Arrival & Check-In

  11 a.m. — Hawkins Hall, E. Glenn Giltz

  Upon arrival at the iconic Hawkins Hall, E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium, check in with an admissions team member. 

• Welcome Remarks

  11 a.m. — Hawkins Hall, E. Glenn Giltz

  Hear from campus leaders as they share insights into the SUNY Plattsburgh experience, our academic opportunities, student support services, and what it means to be part of the Cardinal community.

  The academic information sessions will depart immediately following the welcome remarks. 

• Academic Information Sessions

  11:30 a.m. — Hawkins Hall, E. Glenn Giltz

  Not quite sure what you want to study yet? You’re in the right place! Join us for an interactive academic session where faculty from a variety of disciplines will share insights into their programs.

  Sessions Include:

  • School of Arts & Sciences
  • School of Business & Economics
  • School of Education, Health, and Human Services

  Guests will be guided to and from information session locations. 

• Cardinal Compass: Guiding Students to Success Fair

  12:30–1:30 p.m. — Angell College Center, Warren Ballrooms

  Discover a world of opportunities! Explore our diverse programs and engaging activities designed to help you excel at Plattsburgh.

  This is an explore-at-your-own-pace event and is only offered during the time frame listed above.

• Student Involvement Fair

  12:30–1:30 p.m. — Angell College Center, Cardinal Lounge

  Explore the many ways to get involved at SUNY Plattsburgh! Connect with student clubs, organizations, campus departments, and programs that help you find your community, discover new interests, and make the most of your college experience.

  This is an explore-at-your-own-pace event and is only offered during the time frame listed above.

• Appointments

  11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. — Angell College Center, Alumni Conference Room

  Meet one-on-one with members of our Admissions, Academic Advising, and Student Financial Services teams to get your questions answered and receive personalized guidance about your next steps at SUNY Plattsburgh.

  Appointments are first-come, first-served. 

• General Campus Tours

  11:30 a.m.–2 p.m. — Angell College Center, Flynt Commons

  Attend a walking campus tour showcasing classrooms, dining facilities, a residence hall and more! Tours are roughly one hour.

  Tours are first-come, first-served and depart on a rotating basis. The last tour will head out promptly at 2 p.m.
