Heather Fronckowiak, LCSW, is an experienced social work educator, clinician and consultant with a passion for trauma-informed practice, field education and interdisciplinary collaboration. She is an assistant professor of social work and M.S.W. field director at SUNY Plattsburgh, where she oversees graduate field placements, teaches practicum courses and supports the next generation of social workers.

Previously, Heather served as an assistant professor and MSSW field director at The College of Saint Rose. With extensive experience in clinical practice, she has provided therapy, forensic interviewing and licensure supervision, particularly in child welfare and trauma-focused interventions. Heather is dedicated to community service; she holds leadership roles in a rural community nonprofit promoting health and wellness.
