She is committed to helping students thrive academically, personally, and professionally by fostering belonging, resilience, and student success. Her work is grounded in the principles of social justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion, with a focus on creating supportive learning environments where all students can succeed.
Dr. Amani’s background spans teaching, advising, online learning, student support, and cross-cultural engagement across diverse educational settings. She holds a Ph.D. in international family and community studies and is dedicated to cultivating student growth, advancing holistic well-being for individuals and communities, and preparing students to become engaged leaders and advocates for positive social change.
