Dr. Richard Gottschall


Associate Professor of Marketing & Entrepreneurship

Richard Gottschall has taught marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and small business management courses for the School of Business and Economics since the fall of 2001.

Prior to teaching, Mr. Gottschall started and operated restaurants in Plattsburgh, New York, for six years. He served as a business advisor in the United States Peace Corps where he supported a micro-credit bank serving small businesses and worked in Southeastern Europe for a venture capital firm and the U.S. Agency for International Development. As an advisor with the North Country Small Business Development Center, Mr. Gottschall advised hundreds of business owners and enjoys bringing real business situations and his international experiences to the classroom.
