The SUNY Plattsburgh Collegiate Chapter of the American Marketing Association

SUNY Plattsburgh Marketing Club holds weekly meetings that are run by students. Members prepare the chapter plan and annual report for the annual AMA conference they attend each year in New Orleans. The club hosts guest speakers relating to career preparation and various marketing topics. Field trips are planned to visit marketing agencies within Burlington, Vt. and Lake Placid, NY. Each spring the club hosts their Etiquette Series, a four-workshop series on professionalism. Members host an end of the year banquet and present Champy Awards to local businesses.

Alpha Mu Alpha Honor Society

Acknowledges the achievement of outstanding marketing students across the country.

  • Eligibility Requirements:
    • GPA in top 10% of marketing majors
    • Only students and faculty from colleges and universities with established AMA collegiate chapters or which are recognized by the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business are eligible

Sigma Nu Tau Entrepreneurship Honor Society

Acknowledges the achievement of outstanding entrepreneurship students across the country.

  • Eligibility Requirements:
    • GPA of 3.2 or above
    • At least junior class standing
    • Honor and integrity
    • Evidence of strong entrepreneurial spirit
