Dr. Martin joined the SUNY Plattsburgh Department of Political Science in Fall 2026.
Previously, she was an assistant professor of political science at the University
of Southern Mississippi. Dr. Martin earned her Ph.D. from Stony Brook University in
2025. Her teaching and research interests include the role of gender in American politics,
with a particular focus on voter behavior.
