Sarah earned a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies, Administration and Leadership from SUNY Plattsburgh and B.F.A. in painting at the College for Creative Studies, as well as certificates from UCLA and NYU in graphic design, animation and digital movies. Sarah manages the college website and provides our overall web strategy. She also provides analytics insight and reporting. Sarah can work with you to create the best user experience for your visitors and structure your information to meet your goals and reach your audience.

Gerianne is an award-winning reporter, writer, editor and photographer who honed her craft during an 11-year tenure at the Press-Republican in Plattsburgh. She joined the staff at SUNY Plattsburgh in what was then called College Relations in 1996. Over the years here, she has covered four presidents, written hundreds of stories and taken hundreds of photos. She was the original editor of Plattsburgh Magazine. Gerianne holds a degree in newspaper journalism from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University.

Hannah is an accomplished graphic designer who refined her skills at SUNY Plattsburgh, where she studied digital media production and graphic design. She has expertise in graphic design, digital art, color theory, social media marketing and brand identity. Hannah’s primary focus is to drive the university’s four key pillars of growing and stabilizing enrollment, strengthening student success, prioritizing equity and inclusion and engaging the North Country region. She achieves this by leading graphic design initiatives, coordinating creative materials, assisting with engagement strategies that include consistent and targeted implementation of social media to build the university brand and tell the campus story — which includes the branch campus and online learners — and delivering high-level, holistic campus branding and messaging.

Heather Haskins

With over two decades of experience in communications and executive leadership, Heather currently directs university-wide communications and marketing initiatives while leading a diverse team of website, recruitment, communications, graphic design and branding professionals. Her strategic approach aligns communication strategies with organizational goals while fostering brand awareness and driving recruitment success. Prior to her role at SUNY Plattsburgh, Heather served for 20 years at the New York State Governor’s Office for the Prevention of Domestic Violence, where she led training, policy and communication efforts to increase national and statewide support for and awareness of domestic violence services and resources. Heather’s background encompasses team leadership, collaboration with senior executives and navigating complex organizational structures. She holds a Master of Fine Art from Lesley University and a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Plattsburgh with certifications in national leadership development training and mediation and conflict resolution.

Felicia Krieg has worked at SUNY Plattsburgh since 2015 and has experience in communications, marketing, photography and social media. Felicia was a staff writer at The Press-Republican newspaper for several years after graduating from SUNY Plattsburgh with a degree in English literature and journalism. During her time as a reporter, Felicia received awards in investigative reporting, community service reporting and breaking news coverage from the New York State Associated Press Organization and the New York News Publishers Association.

Jessica earned her degree in communications studies with a minor in business communications at SUNY Oneonta. Jessica focuses on the college’s four strategic pillars of growing and stabilizing enrollment, strengthening student success, prioritizing equity and inclusion and engaging the North Country region by coordinating all campus student recruitment marketing efforts.

Hunter is a dynamic multimedia professional who holds a bachelor’s degree in digital media production from SUNY Plattsburgh. With a keen eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling, his expertise lies in video production and photography. Hunter’s educational journey and prior professional experiences provided a comprehensive foundation in digital media, laying the groundwork for his expertise. Focused on the institution’s strategic pillars of growing and stabilizing enrollment, strengthening student success, prioritizing equity and inclusion and engaging the North Country region, Hunter envisions applying his multimedia skills to contribute significantly to the achievement of these goals.

Virginia earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature and psychology from SUNY Plattsburgh. She also holds a Master of Library and Information Science from San Jose State University with a concentration in archives and records administration. Virginia works with academic departments and campus offices to ensure that our web pages are up-to-date while ensuring accessibility and branding compliance. Prior to joining the SUNY Plattsburgh marketing department in 2020, Virginia worked in nonprofit leadership and in the private sector as a small business owner and manager.
