Finance Minor

Offered in person & online

A minor in finance can open your eyes to global and national financial issues, trends and markets. What better complement to a major in environmental studies and planning, or urban planning, mathematics, computer science, pre-law, international studies, management, marketing or business than a minor in finance?

What Will I Learn?

The finance program offers an 18-credit hour minor for students majoring in disciplines other than finance. This minor provides students with an understanding of basic financial theory, applied financial analysis and financial markets.

What is Unique About Our Program?

Augment your chosen School of Business and Economics major with more in-depth study in financial markets and trends. You can easily acquire this minor by adding three additional finance courses to your required SBE courses (accounting I and II and principles of finance).

This program can be completed on campus or online.
