Small Venture Start-up Seminar; Helping People Achieve Business Success
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ The North Country Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the
State University of New York College at Plattsburgh will be offering a seminar for
individuals and business owners who want to learn more about business basics on Wednesday,
Oct. 5, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. at the Village Office, 1790 Main Street, in Keeseville.
The North Country SBDC, part of the School of Business and Economics at SUNY
Plattsburgh, is partnering with TD Banknorth and Friends of the North Country on the
seminar.
Local professionals, including Dee Clark, director of the North Country SBDC, bankers and an attorney will cover a range of topics including: business plans; business structure; types of business loans; how to apply for a loan; what lenders look for; and other banking services for small businesses. There is no fee to attend the seminar and refreshments will be served. Reservations can be made by calling North Country SBDC at 518-564-2042.
