Registration Open for SUNY Plattsburgh Summer Open House

Prospective students and their families will soon have the opportunity to see all that SUNY Plattsburgh has to offer during the university’s annual spring open house Friday, July 17.
Students and their families will gather at the university’s iconic Hawkins Pond at 11:30 a.m. where they’ll check in with Office of Admissions team members.
While at the pond, visitors will be able to take their time exploring what SUNY Plattsburgh
has to offer through its programs and activities during the “Cardinal Compass: Guiding
Students to Success Fair.”
An interactive academic session will begin at noon where faculty and staff from a variety of majors will be able to answer questions as they share insights into their programs. Sessions include majors from the university’s three schools: Education, Health and Human Services, School of Business and Economics, and the School of Arts and Sciences.
Visitors will be able to take walking tours that will showcase the university’s classrooms, dining facilities, a residence hall and other features of the nearly 300-acre campus. Tours last about an hour and depart the pond on a rotating basis. The last tour leaves promptly at 3 p.m.
Can’t make it to Summer Open House? Admissions will offer two more opportunities during the fall semester, Oct. 24 and Nov. 14.
Students can register now for the July 17 program by visiting https://www.plattsburgh.edu/admissions/visit/open-house.html. For more information, contact the Office of Admissions at 518-564-2040 or email [email protected].
