PRISM Concert to Feature Every Student Ensemble
PLATTSBURGH, NY (October 2, 2007) - The music department at SUNY Plattsburgh will present the 20th annual PRISM Concert on Friday, Oct. 12 at 8 p.m. in the E. Glenn Giltz Auditorium of Hawkins Hall.
This concert features every student ensemble from the college's music program, including the Symphonic Band, Saxophone Ensemble, Clarinet Choir, Guitar Ensemble, Chorale, Cardinal Singers, Flute Ensemble, Brass Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Contemporary Combo and Sinfonia Chamber Ensemble. All ensembles will be spread throughout the Giltz Auditorium and will perform in a round-robin format.
Tickets cost $5 for the general public and $2 for SUNY Plattsburgh students and are available in advance at the Angell College Center Desk or at the door on the night of the performance. Audience members are advised to obtain tickets early due to high demand.
Because of the specifically-timed concert lighting, the doors will close promptly at 8 p.m. Audience members are, therefore, advised to arrive early.
