"Meet Your Neighbors" Event Planned for Oct. 11 at AXP Fraternity
PLATTSBURGH, NY __ With the leaves changing colors and that familiar fall chill in
the air, it's the perfect time to meet your neighbors over a cup of apple cider. Alpha
Chi Rho (AXP), a Greek fraternity at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh,
will host "Meet Your Neighbors" on Wednesday, Oct. 11, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the
AXP fraternity house, 147 Brinkerhoff Street, Plattsburgh.
"Meet Your Neighbors" is an off-campus outreach program designed to improve relations among off-campus students, neighboring community members and college and city officials.
The event, which will feature apple cider, donuts and caramel apples, will be held on the fraternity's front porch. Campus officials, student government leaders and members of FAIR (For All Interested Residents) are invited to attend in addition to Plattsburgh City Common Council members, city department heads and community members. This event is free, and everyone is welcome to attend.
