Maegan Pollonais to Give Senior Voice Recital
SUNY Plattsburgh music student and mezzo soprano Maegan Pollonais will present her Senior Voice Recital April 21 at 7:30 p.m. in Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall. The concert is free and open to the public.
In a program featuring opera and art songs, Pollonais will perform select vocal works by Bellini, Schumann, Fauré, Bernstein, Massenet and Mozart. Pianist Dr. Karen Becker will serve as accompanist for the recital.
Pollonais is a voice student of Timothy Morningstar. While at SUNY Plattsburgh, Pollonias received the Louise H. Heisler Music Scholarship. Pollonais will complete her Bachelor of Music degree in May 2012 and will continue to study voice and opera performance at the graduate level.
