Immigration, White Nationalism Topics of 'Critical Issues' Forums
The SUNY Plattsburgh history department will sponsor two “Critical Issues” forums that focus on immigration and white nationalism in Europe and the United States on April 3 and again on April 26 at 7 p.m. in the Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall.
The first forum will feature Dr. Elizabeth Onasch, assistant professor in sociology, who will discuss nationalism, racism and the rise of the far right in Europe.
The second will feature Dr. Wendy Gordon, professor of history, discussing the history of immigration restriction in the United States.
These events are free and open to the public.
