Guest Lecture Focuses on Balancing Justice and Profit
PLATTSBURGH, NY (September 17, 2007) - Dr. Jean Charles Chebat, marketing professor and Omer-DeSerres Endowed Chair at the University of Montreal, will present "Justice and Profits In Consumer Markets: Can They Be Reconciled?" on Tuesday, September 18, at 12:15 p.m., in the Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall, on the campus of SUNY Plattsburgh.
Dr. Chebat has had a distinguished career in academia. He is a fellow of the American Psychological Association, a member of The Royal Society of Canada (1996), and a member of the Knights Order of Quebec. In addition, he was named the first Distinguished Scholar of the Society for Marketing Advances. In addition to his service to students in the classroom, Dr. Chebat is also an accomplished scholar and has published widely in the field of marketing.
The lecture is part of the School of Business and Economics Distinguished Lecture Series and is co-sponsored by The School of Business and Economics (SBE), the Center for the Study of Canada, the Institute for Quebec Studies, and the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship at SUNY Plattsburgh.
