Faculty Piano Recital Featuring Louise Dionne Feb. 11
PLATTSBURGH, NY __The Music Department at the State University of New York College
at Plattsburgh will present a faculty piano recital featuring Louise Dionne on Sunday,
Feb. 11, at 3 p.m. in the Hyman and Frances Krinovitz Recital Hall, Hawkins Hall.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The program will feature seven compositions written by Dionne, including five solo piano works and one song for soprano. The recital will also include a guest student vocal performer. Other works during the concert will include music by Franz Schubert and Frederic Chopin.

Dionne, adjunct lecturer of music, has taught at SUNY Plattsburgh since in spring 2001. She is an active performer of both solo and chamber music/art song in the North Country. Dionne received a Master's degree in piano performance from Ithaca College and a Bachelor's degree in music from SUNY Plattsburgh where she received the Outstanding Music Award.
As an applied music instructor in Plattsburgh, Dionne teaches more than 60 students of all ages and levels in her private piano studio on Margaret Street.
