Child Care Center to Hold Silent Auction Fundraiser
The SUNY Plattsburgh Child Care Center will hold a silent art auction fund raiser from March 26 through March 30 in Sibley Hall.
According to Director Sally Girard, the center has experienced a significant reduction in funding and as a result is struggling financially. Funds raised through the auction will help the center reduce its deficit.
Works of art such as paintings, drawings, collage, photographs, print, sculpture and ceramics are being collected for the auction.
“Your donation may be something you created, you purchased or was gifted to you,” Girard said. “It may be art that you have had in your home that you no longer want. If it is a wall hanging, it may or may not be framed.”
To donate or for more information, contact Girard at 518-564-2274 or email [email protected] no later than March 9.
