Dr. Nettie Cambria is a licensed professional counselor, certified clinical trauma
professional and nationally certified counselor with a Ph.D. in Counselor Education.
She has experience working with adolescents, adults, and aging adults through complex
trauma, LGBTQIA+ and disability identities, and addictions. She has worked with individuals,
groups, families, and in communities to provide affordable and accessible mental health
care. Nettie has been dancing since she could walk and loves to incorporate dance/movement
therapy into her work. As an educator, she also likes using interactive and creative
approaches in the classroom. Nettie is trained in restorative practices and likes
to use circles in the classroom in order to build a strong sense of community. Outside
of work, Nettie enjoys game nights, playing with her dog and cat, dancing, and exploring
her new surroundings in the Adirondacks.
