Scholarships for Pre-Health Majors

Pre-Med Student Endowment Fund

Accepting Applications for Spring 2024

The Pre-Med Student Endowment Fund was established to help SUNY Plattsburgh students in need to prepare to apply to medical school. Grants will be awarded yearly to make SUNY Plattsburgh students more competitive in their applications to allopathic and osteopathic medical schools. The main goal is to support MCAT preparation, although other costs associated with medical school applications will be considered. The size of the award will be dependent on the size of the endowment at the time of the award applications. Between one and three awards will be made each year depending on the amount to be dispersed and the requests made. It is anticipated that the grants will be in the range of $250 – 500.

  • Be SUNY Plattsburgh students
  • Have least 60 credits toward graduation completed
