IMPORTANT UPDATE About Housing Accommodations

Students applying for accommodative singles or permission to live off-campus as an accommodation should be aware that due to limited physical staffing as a response to COVID-19, your request may take a bit longer to be reviewed. We ask for your patience and understanding. To receive more prompt service, please email completed forms, both the Student Housing Accommodation Request and Medical/Psychological Documentation Forms, to [email protected].


How Do I Qualify?

To qualify you must register with the assistant director of student accessibility services. Once registered, you remain qualified until graduation.

Register via the student portal on Banner (choose “Request Accommodations”), by calling our office at 518-564-2810 or by email at [email protected].

SUNY Plattsburgh fully supports the spirit of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and works individually with each student to meet their specific accommodative needs.

What Services Can I Expect?

Although each student’s needs are individually evaluated and planned, the following list is some of the common accommodations available:
