Jennifer Curry holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a master’s degree in psychology with a specialization in gender studies and culture. As director of ARO, she brings a diverse background, with much of her experience focused on supporting individuals in disability services. Throughout her career, Jennifer has worked in community advocacy, case management and service and resource coordination.

Jennifer is passionate about empowering students with disabilities to find their voice and build strong self-advocacy skills. She is committed to creating supportive, inclusive environments where students feel confident, capable and equipped to succeed.

Travis Gorham is a dedicated higher education professional, committed to advancing student success, accessibility and inclusive excellence. He earned his Bachelor of Science in human development and family relations from SUNY Plattsburgh and brings years of experience working with diverse populations throughout the Plattsburgh community.

As assistant director, Travis leads high-impact initiatives that advance student success and holistic development. He oversees the O.A.S.I.S. Living Learning Community and the A.T.L.A.S. Access Coaching Program, empowering students through academic support, skill-building and inclusive engagement. Travis also serves as the university’s housing accommodations coordinator, facilitating housing accommodations and emotional support animal requests to ensure equitable access to supportive living and learning environments.

Driven by a deep commitment to advocacy, collaboration and student-centered support, Travis strives to create an environment where all students feel supported, included and equipped to reach their full potential.

Gabrielle is a SUNY Plattsburgh alum. Before stepping into the realm of higher education, Gabrielle’s professional experience included community education and case management.

Gabrielle joined the Accessibility Resources Office in 2023. She manages the intake process for students, determines accommodations and advocates with faculty. This role feels especially fulfilling as she has the privilege of welcoming new students and ensuring they receive individualized support during their educational career. Gabrielle also oversees ARO’s Cardinal Landing Program, a peer support community for students with disabilities, and ARO Go!, a community outreach initiative with local school districts to spark early conversations about college accessibility and student rights.

Gabrielle is incredibly proud to work with the ARO team, nurturing a culture of equity and inclusivity at SUNY Plattsburgh each and every day.

Autumn Esposito, Access & Academic Coordinator

Autumn Esposito graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a B.A. in art history and a minor in biological anthropology, and later earned her M.S. in student affairs and higher education. Her professional experience includes course instruction, event planning and holistic one-on-one coaching focused on academic success, executive functioning, major and career exploration and financial literacy.

Autumn is committed to empowering students by building confidence, strengthening self-advocacy skills and helping them navigate institutional systems. Autumn is especially passionate about expanding equitable access for diverse student populations — including first-generation, first-year, moderate-income students, and students with disabilities, equipping them with the tools to take ownership of their educational journey and achieve their goals. In her free time, she enjoys reading, baking, exploring new places and spending quality time with family, friends and pets.

Donna Dixon, Access Coach

Donna Dixon graduated from SUNY Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Arts in health and recreation services and earned her Master of Science in sport management from the United States Sports Academy. With more than 25 years of experience in higher education, she has built a strong career supporting student success through her work in student services, coaching and academic instruction.

Donna is a dedicated advocate for first-generation college students and student-athletes, helping them navigate college while building confidence and essential life skills. Known for her holistic, student-centered approach, she emphasizes academic success, personal growth, resilience and leadership while empowering students to reach their full potential and achieve their goals.

Laura Cronk, Testing Services Coordinator

Laura Cronk holds a Bachelor of Science in hospitality management from SUNY Plattsburgh. As the testing services coordinator, she works closely with students who receive testing accommodations and partners with faculty to ensure exams are administered safely, securely and with great care. Laura is deeply committed to fostering a calm, supportive testing environment where students feel confident, respected and fully supported in using their accommodations.

Before joining the Accessibility Resources Office in 2015, Laura worked in international trade, collaborating with clients across the globe. This experience strengthened her communication skills, attention to detail and ability to support individuals from diverse backgrounds — qualities she brings to her work every day.

Sandra Layhee, Support Coordinator

After retiring from the Claude J. Clark Learning Center, Sandi Layhee originally joined the TRIO Student Support Services team in 2012. She has been a member of the Accessibility Resources Office team since 2019.

As support coordinator, Sandi is responsible for GENIO note-taking services, an online note-taking service offered to eligible students in the Accessibility Resources Office. She also assists students that need individualized accommodations in the classroom, such as chairs, desks and other accessible furniture and equipment. She very much enjoys working with our students.
