Lisa A. Vicencio

Adjunct Lecturer
Lisa A. Vicencio was hired at SUNY Plattsburgh in 1994 as a part-time assistant athletic trainer and head volleyball coach. In 1999, after a maternity leave, she returned to SUNY Plattsburgh as part-time athletic trainer and adjunct lecturer. Lisa has a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Education and a Master’s of Art in Administration and Leadership, both earned at SUNY Plattsburgh. She is certified as an athletic trainer by the National Athletic Training Association and the State Education Department of New York.
She currently teaches Science of Exercise, Supplemental and Ergogenic Aid at SUNY Plattsburgh and Personal Health at Clinton Community College. Prior to being hired at SUNY Plattsburgh, Lisa worked as an athletic trainer at Adirondack Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation.
When she is not in the training room or classroom, she can be found either cycling, boating, playing tennis, alpine skiing, hiking or simply enjoying time with her family. She currently resides in Plattsburgh.
