Dr. Fadi Helwanji is an adjunct professor in the business department at Clinton Community
College and an adjunct lecturer in the communication studies, supply chain management
and international business, and modern languages and cultures departments at SUNY
Plattsburgh. He holds a Ph.D. in Education with Organizational Leadership Concentration
from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas; he also holds a bachelor’s
degree and a master’s degree in fundamental theology, and a diploma of aptitude for
middle school principals.
Dr. Helwanji brings a well-founded multicultural expertise in three leadership areas:
educational, pastoral, and business leadership. He fluently speaks and writes three
different languages: Arabic, French and English. He has an extended teaching experience
in Lebanon, Canada, China, and the U.S., from being a school principal to lecturing
at universities and serving on doctoral committees.
Dr. Helwanji has played many transformational leadership roles effectively and successfully
both nationally and internationally in both the educational and the pastoral fields.
He is cofounder of profit and non-profit organizations in both the U.S. and Canada,
such as C.O.P.E. Consulting, The Maronite Circle, Academic Immigration Dream and The
Maronite Institute of Theology and Christian Studies.
