Vice Presidential Search — Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

SUNY Plattsburgh is searching for the university‘s next Vice President for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.

To assist with this national search, the university has partnered with WittKiefer, a long-standing executive search firm with expertise in higher education and a successful track record in the recruitment of senior diversity, equity and inclusion professionals. The Search Committee includes representatives from each division, representation from both the CSEA and UUP unions and the University Council. The committee has been working collaboratively with the search firm over the past few months.

It is anticipated that the appointment will be made by the end of the spring semester with a July 1, 2026 start.

Candidate CVs will be available two working days before each candidate’s visit. Candidate CVs will be removed at the end of each visit.
