SUNY Plattsburgh College Council to Honor Faculty at July Meeting
The SUNY Plattsburgh College Council will hold its annual retreat and summer meeting Thursday, July 26 at the Valcour Educational Conference Center beginning at 2:30 p.m.
The council will act on several items, including commendation for Drs. Linda Luck, Nancy Elwess, Robert Wacker-Mundy, Jean Ann Hunt, and Karen Blough, Allison Swick-Duttine, Barry Brown and Jill Myers, recipients of Chancellor’s Awards for Excellence.
In addition, the council will give recognition to Kris Doorey, baseball head coach, for winning the SUNYAC 2012 Walter Nitardy Coach of the Year Award. This year’s retirees will also be recognized for their years of service to the college.
Council members will hear reports from the provost and vice president for academic
affairs as well as from the vice presidents for institutional advancement, administration
and student affairs.
College Council meetings are open to the public. The next meeting is Tuesday, Sept.
18 at the Branch Campus at Queensbury.
