Promotions Announced
PLATTSBURGH, N.Y. (Aug. 27, 2010) – During his welcoming address to the college campus today, SUNY Plattsburgh President John Ettling announced the promotions of the following individuals:
Casey Henley, from the college’s Expeditionary Studies program, was promoted to assistant professor.
Christine Johnson (communication), Dr. Jessamyn Neuhaus (history), Dr. William Pfaff (music), Dr. Delbert Hart (computer science), Dr. Zuopeng Zhang (international business and information systems), and Dr. Chris Martine (biology) were all promoted to the rank of associate professor.
Deborah Kimok was promoted to associate librarian.
Finally, Dr. Ray Guydosh (interim dean of the School of Business and Economics), Dr. Brian Neureuther (business and supply chain management), Dr. Neal Duffy (economics and finance), Dr. James Csipak (marketing and entrepreneurship), Dr. David Curry (nursing and nutrition), Drs. Robert Ackland, Heidi Schnackenberg and Douglas Selwyn (teacher education), Dr. Simona Sharoni (chair of Gender and Women’s Studies), and Dr. Isabel Arrednondo (foreign languages and literature) were all promoted to full professor.
