Music Faculty Member to Perform Selections from Album
Adrian Carr, adjunct lecturer in music, will perform piano selections from his 2014 album, “11,” Friday, March 24 at 7:30 p.m. in the Krinovitz Recital Hall.
Carr’s album contains 11 original compositions that reflect life in the North Country. They were recorded at the First Congregational Church in Malone, N.Y., on its turn-of-the-century Steinway B piano.
“You can hear the sound of that space on the album,” Carr said. “The Church is a very special place, and I felt it was contributing to the sound and the music.”
The recital is free and open to the public.
