Distinguished Service Professor Mohamed Gaber Honored with Portrait Unveiling
There will be a portrait-unveiling ceremony for Dr. Mohamed Gaber, SUNY distinguished service professor, Friday, Oct. 13 at 4:30 p.m. in Feinberg Library.
Gaber, professor and chair of the accounting department, was named to the SUNY rank of distinction because of his service to campus, community, region and beyond. Gaber is known for his connection to accounting alumni and is active in helping current students network and connect with alumni to great success after graduation.
The ceremony will include remarks from Dr. Michael Morgan, interim provost and vice president for academic affairs, as well as from Hesh Gaber ’06, founder and CEO of Data Street Partners, and Chris Steinhardt ’91, managing director, Grant Thornton LLP.
A reception will follow the portrait unveiling.
